MapStore Client Configuration and Development

The geonode-mapstore-client is a downstream project of MapStore. GeoNode uses MapStore as a frontend framework to create single-page applications that provide a catalog and viewer to show the GeoNode resource’s content.

These are the required steps before to proceed with this section:

• Install the training Virtual Machine

• Create a GeoNode project

There are different levels of customization for the client that range from the configuration to a custom branch/fork:

• Viewer and plugins configurations
• Setup of a GeoNode MapStore Client in development mode
• Structure of the client: directories and files
• Develop custom branches with GeoNode MapStore Client
• Add a new plugin extension
